Located in the Ottawa east, the Beechwood market has become a popular spot since it opened a few years ago. Here you can pick up farm-fresh produce with local goods and prepared food as well. Aside from the fresh food and produce you can also pick up some VQA wines, and even brig the kids along for some family-friendly activities that happen here often.
Hours: Opens July 4th on Saturdays from 9am until 2pm.
This one is no surprise and has to be mentioned since it’s one of the oldest, historic markets in Canada. The ByWard is your one-stop-destination for just about anything you may need. You can get your hands on a wide variety of local produce and browse through some of the artisan vendors for other home goods you may need.
Hours: Opens in May. Produce vendors: 7am until 6pm. Artisanal vendors 8am until 9pm
Ottawa Farmers’ Market
You can find the Ottawa Farmers’ market throughout 3 different locations in the city. Each location offers local goods in support of the community. The locations are Lansdowne Park, Centrum Plaza in Orleans and Byron in Westboro. In addition to produce, you can pick up grass-fed beef, jam, honey and other home goods to add to your grocery bag.

The Ottawa Organic Farmers’ Market
Looking for organic? Then you can head to the market on Bank Street that is Ottawa’s only year-round organic market. You can get your hands on all kinds of items from local farmers. You can also find fresh baked goods, meats, teas and even beauty products that are organic.
Hours: Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Flea Market at Rideau Carleton Raceway
If you’re searching for a flea market style venue, Rideau Carleton Raceway has got you covered. This flea market gets better every year, offering produce, crafty items and so much more.
Hours: Sundays, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
